Have you ever been so overloaded, that you can't think?
The kind of overload that you can't complete even the most menial of tasks?
Overloaded to the point that you leave your car with the keys in it,
running,
in your driveway,
overnight?
Um, yeah. That kind of overload.

Overload.

Eek! I'm close behind you but luckily I have very considerate neighbours who let me know if I've left the garage door open or worse.
Cheers
EEP! Sending you "unload" thoughts and vibes. Yikes.
Just glad the car was in the driveway - not in the garage as Maddy implied - worse!
Less worse but also bad, thank goodness your car wasn't stolen.
And, too, I hope things lighten up for you....any chance? You are not alone. Melody at Slurping Life is recommending ice cream over at 5mfsn.
You can find good company there. Barbara
Oh wow - I would have answered "yes" until I read the overnight part. It does sound like you are beyond overloaded. Hope you find a way to lighten the load soon.
Out of curiosity - did it run out of gas and stall or was it still running when you discovered it? Don't you have any neighbours? Enquiring minds want to know.
It used up just over 1/4 tank of gas. I was happy I had just filled my tank on the way home, otherwise, I would have run out.
13 hours of constant running, and only 1/4 tank wasted? I was expecting much worse. :)
I am finding that I may be able to lighten the load if I have a clone. At the moment, I have to follow up on Jaysen's ESY schedule, enroll him for summer camp, meet with the camp director about how they can make his time better there (he doesn't want to go because he "doesn't know where to go, then gets scared"), enroll Rylan in preschool, contact financial aid for camp and preschool, schedule my health exam for the life insurance policy, find a repair person for my washing machine, find a repair person for the garage door, grocery shop for "essentials", and prepare for my "hell week" at work. That's all that comes to mind at the moment.
Mmmm... ice cream does sound good.
Wow. Make sure it's a double scoop of ice cream. With sprinkles.
Hang in there.
I was nodding my head until I got to the "overnight?" part. You've got me there. You win. That's messed up, doooooood. ;) I hope you get some relief soon!
I left mine running in the parking lot at work for half a shift once--a co-worker noticed it... it was not a secret flub-up...
Breathing is important. Stick with that.
